We've been on the ranch two days. It feels more like a vacation than a temporary living situation. It is peaceful, distraction free, and beautiful. Each room offers a breathtaking view of nature.

It is unbelievably hot in south Texas this time if year, so we haven't had the opportunity to sit here yet.

So beautiful and so relaxing. We've been told mama deer and their babies wander through here and wild turkeys. We've yet to see any, but I'm sure we will.

We've already gotten comfortable relaxing together watching tv or playing with Sweet Pea on the floor. Already I feel rejuvenated by our short time here. I'm grateful we are here and even more grateful for the sweet people letting us stay here.
