She fought and struggled for over a month with complications from whooping cough.
Thank you, all of you, who have faithfully prayed for this sweet baby. I ask that you join me in continuing to pray for her parents Phillip and Erin and their families. Though Rain's struggle is over, theirs is not. Let us continue to remember them in the months ahead.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will fill their hearts with His love and peace during this time. Pray He would carry them through this season of grief. Pray for comfort and for good friends who know how to share in this sorrow well. Most of all, just pray.
Katrina, bless you for this post for Rain. I can't believe it's already been over a year. Erin and Phillip are some of my dearest friends. The Lord has blessed them this year with Rain's new little sister Eden. Eden was born around the same time Rain was! What a blessing! She has the same sweetness and spunkyness like Rain. We remember Rain every single day. She was so beautiful. I loved how she just stared into your soul. Her eyes always had so much love in them..like she already considered you a true friend. We can't wait to meet her again in all her glory in Jesus arms. I'll always pray for peace and joy to sustain in your sweet little family, Erin and Phillip. Your faith and resilience has inspired and strengthened us all. Love y'all!

Tawni, I was blessed to have met this sweet baby girl at my Abby's baby shower days before she became so sick. She and my Abby were only two months apart. I still think of and pray for Erin and Phillip. I am so happy to hear they have a new baby girl in their lives! What a blessing...and what a pretty name.
